90-minute Personalized Session: Nourishing Bodywork for smooth confluence and ease of flow. Soothe mind-body connections to promote health. Some, all, or just one of the central techniques can be utilized. Swedish Massage addresses interconnections naturally, and if you'd like, an area or two of focus can be easily incorporated as localized concerns are often best treated in context of whole body. Calming sweeps mean that circulation and nerves also benefit. Craniosacral balances cerebrospinal fluid around brain and spine. Lymph Massage pumps toward reduced swelling and immune support. Neuromuscular offers profound change for muscular tension while unbinding fascia and re-setting tone. Stones bring earthy and grounding support as well as the tools of melting warm and refreshing cool. Each session is unique. What's good for you? Booked in two-hour blocks, easeful time welcomes what comes - perhaps slow arrival or crystal bowls vibration or closing integration in the garden with provided simple food. Enjoy a savory, long moment designed to care for your entire being.
60-minute Pregnancy Session: Bodywork for mama and growing baby. Focuses on relieving discomfort, reducing swelling, and promoting relaxation through gentle, informed touch in a serene garden studio with a private bathroom just a few steps away. Depending on the stage of pregnancy, some find that 60 minutes feels optimal, but if you'd like 90 minutes, please simply book the longer "Personalized Session." For a 60-min session, please allow 90 min for plenty of easeful time to get on and off the table, integrated sound healing, or an invitation to the garden with provided simple food.
Kid Session: This gentle approach prioritizes the child's comfort and well-being. Some common benefits include improved sleep, muscle tone, and respiratory, digestive, and immune functions. Research also shows stronger neural pathway development and self-regulation as well as improved joint mobility, injury recovery, and communication. Approach can enhance self-esteem and healthy boundaries; permission is sought often and builds choice around autonomy and consent. Safe touch often reduces anxiety, depression, aggression, hypersensitivity to tactile input, and touch deprivation. Pain and discomfort are also commonly relieved by massage. Techniques allow opportunities for bonding between child and guardian. Sessions are customized but usually pretty interactive and often include equipping guardian toward home care as we talk through the touch we're practicing. 60 minutes is ideal for first session; then, 30-min sessions are right for many kids. Some little ones do benefit from more time in continuing sessions. Traditional bodywork methods are adapted and utilized, but frameworks are different. For example, in accordance with pediatric massage expert Tina Allen, seven senses are considered with attention to how sensory input is attuned by child; Vestibular and Proprioceptive senses that manage balance, body awareness, and coordination are the two additions. Slightly warm or cool stones might be explored but no hot or cold is used. Flexible and creative presence encourages child to lead. Guardian must be present in the room for entire session. 2-year-olds to 12-year-olds are welcome.
